The 'waiting' begins . I remember as a child that Christmas always seemed to be ages away, today it comes around too quickly. We often call this "the silly season", doing all sorts of things we don't do, and seeing all sorts of people we don't normally see.
Advent invites us to try and get all this into perspective. It's about justice, liberating the oppressed, caring for the defenceless, and advocating for those who don't have any advocates.
Who does this mean for me? And what am I going to do?
Or are they just silly questions?
