Divine mystery
you are not hidden,
nor is your life untold,
but I try to outrun you and outrun myself.
I turn my shoulder
and find you are still there,
I am still there;
running frantically
pounding roughly
The race, this pointless race
will only be over
when I stop;
and, head-turned
this way or that
realise I stand up straight
